Scouting competition 'VESSE 2010' will come about 1st May (29 April, 2010)
Kodutütred ("Home daughters") Saaremaa district and Noored Kotkad ("Young Eagles") Saaremaa districts annual scouting competition "VESSE" take place in Kihelkonna parish on 1st May. Scouting competition "VESSE" is Saaremaa distric's traditional event, which started to honour ancient estonians who participated in St. George's Night Uprising. Unlike last year "VESSE" which was 2 days long competition, this years competition will be 1 day long with 16 km's long track with many different assignment points. Competition end point will be Kihelkonna's hillfort.
Competition head referee is local Defense League girls youth instructor Ingrid PAISTE and track master is instructor MSgt Raivo PAASMA. This years competition will be supported by Northern Defense District Guard Battalion recruits also.
